A 27-year-old man, previously a vegetable seller, has been arrested for cheating people out of Rs 21 crore through work-from-home scams. Rishabh Sharma, who was involved in 37 fraud cases, operated across 10 states and assisted in 855 others. He lured people with promises of high returns through work-from-home schemes and duped them of large sums of money. Sharma allegedly transferred the money to countries like China, making it difficult to trace. The police were able to capture Sharma after conducting a thorough investigation, and he will now face legal consequences for his actions. This case highlights the importance of being cautious while participating in online schemes and avoiding deals that seem too good to be true.
