India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the remainder of the ICC World Cup 2023 due to an ankle injury. He sustained the injury during India’s match against Bangladesh. The technical committee of the tournament has approved India’s request to replace Pandya with fast bowler Prasidh Krishna. However, with India’s pace department performing exceptionally well, Krishna’s chances of making it to the playing eleven are unclear. India, currently leading the table with 14 points, has two round-robin matches left against South Africa and the Netherlands.
