Congress has revealed its seventh and final list of candidates for the Rajasthan assembly elections, which are scheduled for November 25th. The latest list reflects the influence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, as Shanti Dhariwal, a controversial minister and a loyalist of Gehlot, has been nominated for the Kota North constituency. Congress is contesting in 199 out of the state’s 200 constituencies, leaving one seat for its ally Rashtriya Lok Dal. Dhariwal, known for orchestrating a rebellion among MLAs last year, has been rewarded with a ticket, while Gehlot’s confidant Dharmendra Rathore did not receive one.
