Biryani and Rojak have been crowned as winners of Singapore’s Favourite Hawker Food competition. The contest, organized by City Energy Pte Ltd, promotes the use of piped gas in cooking to minimize carbon footprint. The winners, Haji Haniffa M-Ansari Eating House and Fazil Muslim Food Stall, were recognized for their excellence in the culinary domain. Each winner received SGD500 in cash, a medal, and a certificate. City Energy CEO, Perry Ong, highlighted the significance of piped gas in achieving sustainability and emphasized the role of hawkers as stakeholders in promoting environmentally friendly cooking solutions.
