A 46-year-old woman, Haseena, and her three children, Afnan (23), Agnaz (21), and Asim (12), were brutally murdered in Nejaru in the Malpe police station limits of Udupi district on November 12. Haseena’s aunt also sustained critical injuries in the attack. The police believe that a person attacked the family members with a sharp weapon before leaving the scene. They have identified a suspicious individual near the house before the incident and are following leads to catch the assailant.
