Indian Railways has announced the operation of the Bharat Gaurav train, a themed train aimed at showcasing the cultural and religious heritage of Bharat (India) to tourists. The train will run from Mumbai’s CSMT, starting on November 17. It will cover various destinations including Pune, Solapur, Guntakal, Renigunta, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, and Kochuveli. The train package offers three options – Economy, Comfort, and Deluxe, providing an all-inclusive tour package that includes train fare, meals, stay, and transport. The circular route will bring the train back to CSMT on November 25. This initiative intends to attract both domestic and international tourists to experience the rich heritage of Bharat.
