Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara revealed that Karnataka BJP leader BS Yediyurappa had advised him to focus on implementing just two guarantees in the first year of the Congress regime. Parameshwara, who is also the president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), shared this information during an interview. This advice was given to him when Yediyurappa met him just before the swearing-in of the Congress government in May. PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP president Amit Shah were also present during this meet.
