Mumbai witnessed the launch of a new risk mitigation platform called Investor Risk Reduction Access (IRRA) by three stock and two commodities bourses. The platform aims to safeguard traders from losses caused by technical glitches with a broker’s system. Traders can utilize the IRRA platform to swiftly cancel pending orders and limit their losses. Experts believe that this technology sets a global standard in protecting investors from trading risks due to technical issues. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) Chairman, Madhabi Puri Buch, hailed the initiative and showcased India’s proficiency in adopting global best practices.
