OpenAI announced that Sam Altman will return as CEO, following his recent ouster. Additionally, the board of directors that had dismissed Altman will be partly reconstituted. The new board members include Bret Taylor, former co-CEO of Salesforce, Larry Summers, former U.S. Treasury Secretary, and Adam D’Angelo, CEO of Quora. Taylor will serve as the chairman of the OpenAI board. Summers is associated with Jack Dorsey’s Block Inc and Skillsoft Corp. D’Angelo, a computer science graduate and former CTO of Facebook, is best known as the founder of Quora. This restructuring aims to strengthen OpenAI’s leadership and expertise.
