Telangana Congress president A. Revanth Reddy has accused the BJP and BRS of having a close political alliance and conspiring to gain votes in the upcoming elections. He criticized the Election Commission of India for allowing the release of Rythu Bandhu funds just days before the polling date, which he claimed was intended to benefit the BRS. He also accused Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being involved in this alleged conspiracy. Mr. Reddy emphasized that the release of these funds has caused a loss of ₹5,000 to farmers and promised that if the Congress were in power, they would provide ₹15,000 to the farmers. He assured the tenant farmers that they need not worry and urged them to take what KCR is offering now, as the Congress would extend the remaining funding once they assume power. Despite the alleged conspiracy and BJP support, Mr. Reddy expressed confidence in the defeat of BRS in the upcoming elections.
