The Congress has appealed to voters in Rajasthan to exercise their franchise and elect its ‘government of guarantees’ that works for the benefit of the people. The BJP is focused on wresting power from the incumbent party, with hopes to beat Rajasthan’s anti-incumbency tradition. Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have urged the people of Rajasthan to cast their ballots. They listed the promises of the Congress, such as free treatment, cheaper gas cylinder, interest-free agricultural loan, and caste census. Congress general secretary KC Venugopal called for voters to come out in record numbers and vote for a progressive, prosperous, and inclusive Rajasthan.
