While most actors speak about box-office clashes and how they should be avoided, Salman Khan is the only actor who has actually spoken about the actual problem. The actor had said that in an earlier interview that he wants to build more theatres in the country, especially in India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. He says there is a lack of good single-screen theatres in the country. Although that plan couldn’t work due to the lockdown, now that theatres are slowly getting back on track, the actor reveals his intentions.

When asked about his plans, Salman Khan confirms, “Yes. I’ve been wanting to do that for a while. It’s a long process – Zameen, construction, and all that stuff (Land, construction, permissions, and more). We will start on that hopefully next year. Slowly, steadily, but surely!”

The actor previously expressed his search for scripts that focus on drama and comedy while moving away from action. He shares that he has found scripts that align with his vision. The upcoming lineup of movies will offer a mix of action and non-action films, featuring goals, sacrifices, purity, sincerity, captivating songs, humor, and mind-blowing climaxes. Khan emphasizes that action is not limited to physical fights with multiple fighters, asserting that drama, love, and achieving goals without resorting to violence define true action for him.

In terms of audience engagement, Salman Khan highlights that true action is evident when entire families, consisting of 40-50 individuals, go to the cinema to watch a movie they love. Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s recent release, ‘Tiger 3,’ starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, has grossed over 400 crore rupees at the worldwide box office.
