An American Sikh body has condemned the heckling of India’s Ambassador to the U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu during his visit to a gurdwara in New York. The Sikh body, Sikhs of America, stated that gurdwaras should be free from personal political views and called on the gurdwara’s management to take strict actions against the miscreants. Ambassador Sandhu was offering prayers at the Hicksville gurdwara in Long Island on the occasion of Gurpurab when a group of Khalistani supporters interrupted him.
