Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), and Audi have announced their plans to increase prices for their vehicles in January. Maruti Suzuki will raise the prices of its vehicles due to the rising input costs and impact of forex fluctuations. M&M will increase the prices of its passenger and commercial vehicles due to the increase in input costs. Audi will also raise prices for its entire model lineup to partially offset the impact of the rising costs. The price hikes across these brands indicate the challenges faced by the auto industry in maintaining profitability amidst economic pressures.
