Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group, has announced its goal to generate 50% of its revenues from its ‘good & green’ products portfolio within the next decade. This objective is part of the organization’s sustainability targets for the year 2032.

Jamshyd N Godrej, chairman and MD of Godrej & Boyce, emphasized the economic opportunity that sustainability presents and stated, “Our vision isn’t merely about growth but about sustainable progress in harmony with our planet, driven by meaningful collaborations at all levels. In the last decade, we have achieved significant milestones in our sustainable journey and now we are extending our efforts for the decade ahead. We are scaling up our sustainability targets, including moving towards a wholly green supply chain, improving our skilling programs, and generating at least 50% of our revenues from Good & Green products. This demonstrates our firm commitment to climate action and societal development.”

Godrej & Boyce has strengthened its criteria for Good & Green products, highlighting stringent environmental and social parameters. Over the past ten years, the company has already achieved remarkable milestones, such as generating over one-third of its revenues from this approach, facilitating the construction of over 600 green buildings, doubling its energy productivity, and providing vocational skills training to more than 180,000 youth.

The sustainability targets for the next decade aim to push boundaries and include earning 50% of revenues through Good & Green Products, achieving a 60% increase in energy productivity, reducing carbon intensity by 60%, obtaining a 40% share of renewable energy, constructing 100% net-zero buildings, and making 80% of domestic purchases from green suppliers.
