A Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Arihal village based on specific intelligence. The terrorist fired at the security forces during the operation, leading to an encounter. The terrorist, identified as Kifayat Ayoub Alie, was neutralized and incriminating material and arms were seized from the encounter site.
