After a video went viral on social media showing Sunny Deol appearing drunk on the streets at night, the actor confirmed that it was from the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Safar’. The video, which had led some users on a microblogging site to criticize Deol for his alleged misbehaviour in public, was later shared by Deol himself from a different angle, clearly showing that it was a scene being shot for the movie. Vishal Rana, from Echelon Productions, also released a statement explaining that it was a part of their forthcoming film and requested fans not to spread fake news. Sunny Deol, who was last seen in ‘Gadar 2’, one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2023.
