In Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, a routine visit by power department officials to collect overdue electricity bills turned into a violent confrontation. The family residing in Gyan Lok colony attacked the officials from Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) with sticks and released their dogs on them. They also brandished a gun, forcing the officials to retreat. The family not only refused to pay the pending bill but also engaged in verbal abuse and physical violence. Junior engineer Jyoti Bhaskar Sinha and other officials sustained injuries. An FIR has been registered, and charges have been filed against the family. Law enforcement is actively pursuing the accused, who are currently evading capture.
