Infosys Finance Chief Nilanjan Roy Resigns; Jayesh Sanghrajka to Succeed Him

Infosys, the IT services provider, has announced that Nilanjan Roy, the company’s finance chief, has resigned from his position. Roy, who joined Infosys from Bharti Airtel, has been serving as the CFO since March 2019. The company stated that Roy chose to step down in order to pursue his personal aspirations outside of Infosys. Jayesh Sanghrajka, an insider who has spent over 18 years at Infosys in two stints, will succeed Roy as the finance chief. Sanghrajka currently holds the position of deputy CFO and will assume his new role on April 1, 2024. Following the announcement, the price of Infosys’ American Depository Receipts (ADRs) fell by as much as 3.2% to $17.33 per share.
