Assam Minister Ashok Singhal participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held in Biswanath Chariali, Assam’s Biswanath district. During the event, the minister interacted with beneficiaries of Government of India welfare schemes, conveying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee. Singhal described the yatra as a transformative catalyst for positive change, reflecting the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed and inclusive Bharat. The program was attended by MLA Bihali Ranjit Dutta, MLA Biswanath Pramod Borthakur, the Mayor of Biswanath Municipality, the Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath District, and members of self-help groups. Additionally, Prime Minister Modi emphasized his commitment to empowering two crore rural mothers and daughters, making them self-reliant and millionaires, during the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ held in Barki Gram Sabha. The Prime Minister also honored millionaires Chanda Devi and Manisha Devi. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal referred to the yatra as ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ towards a new Viksit Bharat. Prime Minister Modi interacted with and addressed the beneficiaries of the yatra through video conferencing and flagged off the yatra in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.
