Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) announced on Friday that it has entered into an agreement with the Haryana government to build the second Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM) in the state. This new institute will be situated in Kansala, Rohtak and is expected to commence operations next year. The institute, spread across five acres, will focus on imparting skills and training to aspiring individuals in the manufacturing sector. Maruti Suzuki’s initiative to set up the JIM in Haryana is a significant step towards enhancing the technical capabilities and employability of the local youth. By collaborating with the Haryana government, the company aims to contribute to the state’s industrial growth and create a skilled workforce for the future.
