Only individuals with valid invitations from the Ram Temple Trust or those on government duty will be permitted to enter Ayodhya on January 22, the day of the consecration ceremony at the newly constructed Ram temple. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to cancel advance bookings made by individuals who are not invited by the trust. Priority will be given to those invited by the trust. Apart from the accommodation arrangements made by the trust in Ayodhya, arrangements will also be made for pilgrims to stay in Dharamshala and hotels at fixed rates. On January 22, only individuals with invitation letters or those deployed on government duty will be allowed to come to Ayodhya. Special invitees from across India are expected to visit Ayodhya on that day, and arrangements should be made for any necessary diversions. The Ayodhya District Magistrate stated that they are currently investigating the bookings made by hotels and examining the customers who have reserved rooms.
