COVID-19: Karnataka Sees Rise in Active Cases and Test Positivity Rate of 5.93%

Karnataka reported an increase in active COVID-19 cases on Saturday, with the number rising from 175 to 271. The state also recorded a test positivity rate of 5.93%. No deaths were reported. Out of the 1,752 tests conducted, 1,195 were RTPCR and 557 were RAT. Currently, only six COVID-19 patients in the state are in ICU, while 258 are being treated at home. Bengaluru has the highest number of active cases in the state, with 234 cases. The situation is being considered mild, according to experts.
