Karnataka has seen a rise in active COVID-19 cases, with the test positivity rate reaching 5.93%. The state reported 104 active cases on Saturday and the number of active cases climbed to 271 from 175 the previous day. However, experts believe that the infections are mild as only six patients are currently in intensive care. Bengaluru has the highest number of active cases in the state, with 234 cases. Other districts like Mysuru, Shivamogga, and Chikkamagaluru also reported active cases. No deaths were reported on Saturday.
