Nepal is making preparations to send special souvenirs for the upcoming inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. These souvenirs will include various types of jewellery, utensils, clothes, and sweets. According to a media report, a Janakpurdham-Ayodhyadham journey has been planned to deliver these souvenirs. The journey is scheduled to start on January 18 and will culminate in Ayodhya on January 20. On the same day, the souvenirs will be handed over to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ram Mandir Trust. The installation ceremony of the temple is set to take place on January 22.
Earlier, Nepal had sent Shaligram stones collected from the Kaligandaki riverbank to Ayodhya. These stones were used to make the statue of Lord Ram, which will be installed in the temple on the inauguration day.
