The Nifty Realty index showed positive growth in an upbeat market on Tuesday. Macrotech Developers Ltd. increased by 1.75%, Godrej Properties Ltd. by 0.98%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. by 0.9%, DLF Ltd. by 0.37%, and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. by 0.27%, making them some of the top gainers in the real estate sector. On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd. decreased by 1.65%, Swan Energy Ltd. by 0.29%, Brigade Enterprises Ltd. by 0.08%, and Oberoi Realty Ltd. by 0.06%, leading to losses in the index.
The Nifty Realty index recorded a growth of 0.36% at 765.8 at the time of writing this report. The Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up by 71.15 points at 21420.55, while the BSE Sensex showed a growth of 134.93 points at 71241.89. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 42 traded positively, while 8 were in the red.
The most traded shares on the NSE were Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, Indian Renewable, and HFCL.
In today’s trade, Gallantt Metal, Gyscoal Alloys, J Kumar Infra, Laxmi Cotspin, and Syncom Form hit their fresh 52-week highs, while Bajel Projects, Penta Gold, Laxmi Goldorna House, Raj Rayon, and The Grob Tea Company touched their fresh 52-week lows.
