Former Tamil Nadu CM, O Panneerselvam, warned that AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami would go to jail if he, Panneerselvam, exposed certain secrets. Panneerselvam revealed that there were several anomalies in files that came to him, and if he exposed them, EPS would end up in Tihar jail. However, he refrained from disclosing the details as they were official secrets. He spoke to reporters during a meeting with his supporters in Sulur. This meeting marked the beginning of OPS’s state-wide tour to gather support ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Coincidently, the meeting took place at the same time as the AIADMK general council meeting in Chennai, where EPS addressed the members. While EPS made it clear that they will not align with BJP, OPS expressed his support for the saffron party. OPS praised the Prime Minister for his good governance over the past decade and emphasized the importance of continuity in governance.
