Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is set to cover 100 Lok Sabha constituencies and 337 assembly segments, spanning over 15 states. The yatra, which will commence on January 14 from Imphal, aims to sustain the momentum generated by the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and bring about transformation in Indian politics. Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge chaired a meeting with PCC presidents, CLP leaders, and AICC general secretaries and in-charges of states to discuss preparations for the general elections and the upcoming yatra. The yatra will conclude in Mumbai in March after covering a distance of 6,713 kilometers, mostly by bus. Rahul Gandhi will also walk on some stretches along the yatra route. The yatra will focus on the theme of ‘Nyay’, which stands for justice as mentioned in the Constitution. It aims to bring social, economic, and political justice to the people of the country. The ‘Nyay Yatra’ will spend the maximum time in Uttar Pradesh, covering 20 districts over a distance of 1,074 kilometers. In total, the yatra will traverse through Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The objective is to engage with the people and address their concerns and aspirations. The yatra holds significance as it aims to connect with voters in various constituencies ahead of the general elections. It seeks to highlight the importance of justice and bring about positive change in the lives of citizens.
