The crime branch unit 1 police in Nashik have arrested Vijay Patil, who had been wanted in a murder case for the past eight months. Patil, along with his two friends, had killed a puncture shop operator in the Adgaon area. The murder was committed because the operator had not filled air in their two-wheeler’s tire on time. While Patil had escaped from the scene, the other two accused were arrested earlier. The police were determined to arrest Patil at any cost, and on January 3, a police naik received information about his whereabouts near the Batuk Hanuman temple. The police team apprehended him and found a knife in his possession. The Adgaon police are now investigating the case.
