Pradosh day is considered an auspicious day in Hinduism. It is a day dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. They light a diya with desi ghee and offer homemade rice kheer. Chanting of Panchamkshari Mantra and Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra 108 times is also done. Devotees offer shringar items to Goddess Parvati and pray for their desired wish fulfillments.
