The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 11:21AM(IST) on Friday in an upbeat market. Natco Pharma Ltd., GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Gland Pharma Ltd., Abbott India Ltd., and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. were among the top gainers, while Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., Cipla Ltd., Laurus Labs Ltd., Divi’s Laboratories Ltd., and Ipca Laboratories Ltd. were the top losers. The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.45% at 17301.65 at the time of writing this report. The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 177.46 points at 21824.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 667.23 points at 72388.41. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red. Shares of Infibeam Avenues, YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, Easy Trip Planners, and Trident Ltd were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Palred Technologies, Zuari Agro Chem, Infibeam Avenues, Firstsource, and TPL Plastech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while M K Proteins, Digidrive Distributo, Stampede Cap(DVR), Raj Rayon, and GIR Natureview hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
