Prakhar Chaturvedi and Harshil Dharmani showcased their batting prowess in the Cooch Behar Trophy final between Karnataka and Mumbai. Chaturvedi scored an unbeaten 110 runs, while Dharmani also remained not out on 102. The duo had a massive partnership of 172 runs for the second wicket, which helped Karnataka reach a score of 281 for one at the end of Day Two.
Earlier, Karnataka’s opening batsman Karthik SU contributed with a half-century and added 109 runs with Chaturvedi for the first wicket. With nine wickets in hand, Karnataka now trail by just 99 runs and are in a strong position to take the crucial first innings lead against Mumbai.
Mumbai had a solid start to their innings on Day One, thanks to opener Ayush Mhatre’s brilliant knock of 145 runs. Mhatre shared a 114-run partnership for the second wicket with Nutan. Mumbai ended their innings at 328 for six at the end of Day One.
The match has seen some impressive performances from young talents. Samit Dravid, son of legendary Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid and current head coach of the Indian team, took two wickets for Karnataka and conceded 60 runs.
