India and UK are currently engaged in discussions for a free trade agreement (FTA). According to an official, both countries have made significant progress, with majority of the issues either closed or at an advanced stage of talks. The FTA aims to boost bilateral trade by reducing trade barriers and promoting investment between India and UK.
