Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Kissan Mobility Pvt. Ltd. to sell 500 units of electric three-wheeler cargo vehicles for deployment in India. As a zero-emission logistics provider, Kissan Mobility will utilize these EVs for last-mile delivery, contributing to the transition towards eco-friendly logistics solutions. The supply of the EVs is expected to be completed by June 2024.
Valued at ₹20 crore, the deal encompasses a diverse range of applications, including E-commerce, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and Fast-Moving Consumer Durables (FMCD). This agreement marks a significant step in the mission to achieve a sustainable and eco-friendly future in the logistics domain.
Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership and stated that the deployment of electric vehicles will not only enhance operational efficiency but also contribute to a greener and cleaner environment.
Kamlesh Kaushik, CEO and Founder of Kissan Mobility, expressed confidence in OSM’s product lineup and service support, stating that it will be a key factor for their expansion. They have already planned to deploy 2,500 three-wheelers and an equal number of four-wheelers on the road by March 2025, with these 500 units being just the beginning.
In addition to this deal, Omega Seiki Mobility has achieved significant growth in the electric vehicle market. The company reported sales of over 6,000 electric vehicles in the calendar year 2023, which is a 44% increase from the previous year. The company’s order book currently stands at 25,000 units, indicating a strong demand for their electric vehicles.
