Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy recently visited the ongoing reconstruction works at the Tataiahgunta Gangamma temple in Tirupati. This ancient temple, located in Tirupati, is known for attracting a huge number of devotees from different Indian states during the Ganga jatara festival. The government has recently declared the Tirupati Ganga jatara as a state festival following a request from Tirupati legislator Bhumana. The Tirupati trust is providing support for the reconstruction works at the Tataiahgunta Gangamma temple as it not only attracts the locals but also pilgrims visiting Tirumala.

Bhumana Karunakar Reddy expressed confidence that the ongoing works will be completed on schedule, well ahead of the Ganga Jatara festival, ensuring a grand celebration for the devotees.
