A cyclonic circulation approaching Bengal resulted in heavy rainfall in Sriniketan, Birbhum. Kolkata only experienced traces of rain during this spell. However, December witnessed a significant amount of rain compared to the previous year. The chance of further rainfall in Kolkata for the coming days is low, with Friday expected to remain overcast.
