New Delhi: Congress spokesperson Ajay Maken accused Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma of being behind the attacks on Rahul Gandhi’s yatra in Lakhimpur. Maken claimed that Sarma, rattled by the people’s response to Rahul’s roadshow, is trying to sabotage it by using BJP goons. He also mentioned Sarma’s attempts to make Congress change the yatra route. Maken criticized Sarma for his defection from Congress to BJP and called him a coward. In his address, Rahul Gandhi called Sarma the most corrupt CM in the country and accused him of following Modi’s instructions.
