Every year, Corporate Knights, the research arm of a Canadian media organization, conducts an annual analysis of major listed companies to compare and rank them based on publicly available data and key performance indicators. This year, 6,733 companies were analyzed against global industry peers, and the 2024 Global 100 list was unveiled. Telecom giant Ericsson has secured its position as one of the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world thanks to its sustainable business model. Heather Johnson, Head of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility at Ericsson, expressed pride in the recognition and highlighted the value it brings to the company, stakeholders, and society. CEO of Corporate Knights, Toby Heaps, emphasized that the Global 100 companies have consistently performed well because they support their green commitments with investment. As sustainable investment themes like clean energy continue to grow, these companies are poised to thrive in the low-carbon economy.
