A Muslim woman in Firozabad, India, gave birth to a baby boy on the day of the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The woman, named Farzana, demonstrated interfaith understanding by naming her son ‘Ram Rahim,’ which beautifully combines Hindu and Muslim traditions. The District Women hospital’s in-charge, Dr Naveen Jain, confirmed the well-being of both mother and child. The child’s grandmother, Husna Banu, expressed her desire to promote Hindu-Muslim unity through the name she chose. This heartfelt event coincided with the grand Ram Mandir inauguration attended by Prime Minister Modi, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Pran Pratistha ceremony involved the participation of 14 couples from different parts of India and the showering of flower petals on the temple premises by army helicopters. The consecration rituals began on January 16 and concluded on Monday afternoon. The event was attended by thousands of special invitees, including prominent personalities from various fields.
