Benchmark indices gained nearly 2% on Monday, led by heavyweight RIL having its best day in years. The firm trend in Asian markets also helped sustain the upward momentum. Analysts said the stability in banking combined with buoyancy on the global front is aiding recovery however the upside seems capped citing multiple hurdles. In today’s trade, shares of NTPC, Vodafone Idea, GAIL among others will be in focus. NTPC reported 7% YoY growth in its consolidated net profit. Vodafone Idea trimmed losses. ITC reported 6% growth in its consolidated net profit. Bajaj Finance reported 22% growth in its consolidated net profit. RIL shares saw the biggest jump in years. L&T, Bajaj Finserv, Dr Reddy’s, Adani Total Gas, PB Fintech will announce their Q3 results. GAIL has signed a long-term agreement for purchase of LNG. Mahindra Logistics reported a net loss in Q3.
