West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, announced that the state government will soon disburse payments to 2.1 million workers enlisted under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA). Banerjee also called on the central government to clear all pending dues to the workers for their dedicated service and contribution to the nation’s development.
