Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt may be collaborating once again. Pitt is reportedly in discussions to star in Tarantino’s next film, ‘The Movie Critic’. This will mark their third film together, following ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. The film is set in California in 1977 and focuses on the life of a movie critic who writes for a porno rag. Tarantino has previously described the film as being about a guy who lives life but doesn’t become famous. Pitt’s casting as the title movie critic is yet to be confirmed, but Tarantino previously stated that the actor would be a new leading man for him and around the age of 35. ‘The Movie Critic’ is expected to be Tarantino’s final film as he has previously stated his plans to retire after directing 10 movies. No release date or distributor has been announced for the film yet.
