Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal has raised doubts on the credibility of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) while accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of targeting the opposition. Sibal highlighted the fact that many individuals contesting elections have openly admitted to having criminal cases against them. He questioned why the ED does not take action against these individuals belonging to the BJP. Sibal alleged that the BJP’s aim is to remove the opposition from power and prevent them from campaigning effectively in the Lok Sabha elections.
