The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered a China-made drone in a partially damaged condition near Chann Kalan village in Amritsar, Punjab. The drone, identified as a Quadcopter DJI Mavic 3 Classic, was intercepted by vigilant BSF troops during its movement on the border. The BSF Quick Response Team (QRT) promptly tracked the drone’s movement and successfully retrieved it from a farming field.
This is the second China-made drone recovered by the BSF in Punjab within a week. On Friday, the BSF shot down another China-made drone near the India-Pakistan International Border in Gurdaspur district.
The alertness and swift action of BSF troops on duty have played a crucial role in the successful recovery of these drones. The BSF continues to maintain high vigilance and promptly intercept any suspicious movement on the border.
China-made drones entering into Indian territory from Pakistan have been a cause of concern for the security forces. These drones are used for various illegal activities, including smuggling and surveillance.
The recovery of these drones highlights the importance of robust border security measures. The BSF remains committed to safeguarding the country’s borders and preventing any unauthorized intrusion.
