During a press conference held before heading to Delhi as part of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest by farmers, Sarwan Singh Pandher voiced his disappointment with the Congress party. He stated that the farmers’ committee does not deem the Congress party as a supporter in their fight against the agricultural laws, pointing out that these laws were initially brought by the Congress itself. He expressed equal blame towards both the Congress and the BJP for the current situation. The ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest, which began with thousands of farmers from Punjab and Haryana heading towards Delhi, demanding the repeal of the new farming laws, has gained significant attention and support across the country.
