Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged Indian industries to boost startup investments in order to promote innovation and sustain India’s economic growth at a high level. Speaking on the foundation day of the All India Management Association, Pradhan emphasized the lack of trust that the industry seems to have in startups and stressed the need for industries to invest in new ideas. He highlighted that the rapid growth of startups, which currently number about 120,000, will be crucial for achieving India’s target of $30-35 trillion GDP in the next few decades.
