SCCL to Issue Notifications to Fill up 485 Posts in Compliance with Telangana Deputy CM’s Directives

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has instructed the management of the State-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) to release notifications for filling 485 posts. This includes 317 direct recruitment posts and 168 internal recruitment posts in the SCCL. The instructions were given during a review meeting held at the Secretariat in Hyderabad. The Deputy CM also highlighted the need for speeding up the compassionate appointments process to provide jobs to at least 1000 heirs this year. Additionally, he directed the officials to raise the age limit of heirs from 35 to 40 years, as promised by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The progress of the accident insurance scheme, aimed at providing financial security to SCCL workers and their families, was also discussed. The Deputy Chief Minister further instructed the officials to make arrangements for the inauguration of a 10.5-MW solar power plant at Kothagudem in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on February 26, 2024. The meeting also focused on the completion of other solar power projects, the inauguration of a guest house for SCCL employees and officials in Hyderabad, and the daily review of coal production and transportation to meet high demand during the upcoming summer. SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Balram informed the Deputy CM that the notifications for filling the vacant posts in SCCL will be issued on February 22, 2024.
