Two construction labourers lost their lives and another was injured after a wall collapsed near Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai. The incident occurred on Saturday evening during a cleaning operation. The wall, which was approximately 60 feet long and 20 feet high, had been constructed just a month ago. Around 6:30 pm, while cleaning the area behind Prime Fox Productions near Film City Gate no. 2, the wall suddenly gave way. Three labourers were trapped under the debris. One of them, who had sustained injuries, was quickly transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle before the fire brigade arrived. The fire brigade then conducted a rescue operation and used tools, including a PRT kit, to remove the debris. Unfortunately, two of the trapped labourers, identified as Sintu Mandal, 32, and Jaidev Biswas, 45, were pronounced dead at the site by a doctor from the 108 ambulance service. The Aarey Colony Police have registered two accidental death cases in connection with the incident.
