Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his frequent switchovers, claiming that they are wreaking havoc on the state’s progress. Yadav emphasized that these flip-flops are blocking Bihar’s advancement, causing setbacks in its growth. He also criticized the delay in cabinet expansion, stating that the small group of ministers in the newly-formed NDA government is overwhelmed with responsibilities due to this delay. Yadav accused Kumar of abandoning those who have assisted in governing the state, including his own party, the RJD, and the BJP. He highlighted how the current government relies on the support of smaller parties for its survival. Yadav expressed astonishment at claims made by JD(U) leaders that the CM’s frequent switchovers are in the state’s interest, mocking their perspective. He argued that such a situation is detrimental to Bihar and impedes progress. Yadav pointed out that officials are no longer listening to the CM’s orders, suggesting a loss of interest and effectiveness in running the government. Tejashwi Prasad Yadav launched the second phase of his Jan Vishwas Yatra, a public campaign aimed at connecting with the people of Bihar and inviting them to the upcoming rally of the Grand Alliance. Yadav seeks to make significant gains in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and believes Bihar’s progress is key to achieving this.
