Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Temple is one of the most famous Jyotirlingas dedicated to worship Lord Shiva. The temple was constructed in the 18th century and is known for the shringar of the shivlingam. The Mahashivratri festival at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain is celebrated on March 8, 2024. Darshan timings in the temple start from morning 04:00 AM to evening 09:00 PM. Pilgrims can also participate in the special pooja celebrated at night by booking online through the official website. It is advisable for pilgrims to come to the temple early in the morning if they wish to have the Darshan early.
